Our Carleton Brotherhood
Brotherhood is a hard word to give a concrete definition to because it varies from brother to brother. For some it’s knowing that your brothers will always have your back. For others it’s knowing brothers are those who are there for you not only for your best times; they are also the first ones there for you during your worst times. It may even be the fact that brothers are always challenging you to be a better version of yourself. No brother’s definition is going to be the exact same as another, but they are always there for one another. Whether it be serving their communities, pursuing academics, achieving professional success or picking you up and supporting you when you’re down, brothers will always be there.
Our International Brotherhood
Being a part of Acacia spans much further than just the Ottawa region. Having 29 active chapters and 4 colonies across the United States allows for many opportunities. The Acacia Fraternity Foundation provides thousands of dollars of support to Acacia undergraduates in the form of scholarships, educational programming, and leadership consulting. Every summer, undergraduates have the opportunity to attend the Acacia Leadership Academy or Conclave. This is in addition to the yearly road trips we take to visit our American brothers and their campuses. These are just a few of the opportunities available throughout each year to experience Acacia’s international brotherhood, and the benefits that come with it.
